Andrew J. (Andy) Kinzel, 65, Of Bettendorf, IA. died today ( 7-11-1978 )in Franciscan Hospital, Rock Island, Ill.
He was born Feb. 9, 1913, in Cleghorn Ia. to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kinzel. He married Lillian Swanson of Larrabee Ia. Andy and Lillian had farmed near Aurelia, Larabee, and Cleghorn Ia.
He had been employed by Alcoa Aluminum here, retiring 3 years ago.
Survivors include his wife; daughters Carolyn Milner and her husband Robert of Macon, Ga., and Mrs. Carol Milner of Decatur. Ga. 5 grandchildren, and sisters, Mrs. Opal Davis, Bettendorf, Mrs. Vernita Carris and Mrs. Lilas Goodrich both of Cleghorn Ia., and Mrs. Charles ( Vernace) Miller, of Marcus.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and a grandson.
Services will be held Thursday in the McGinnis Funeral Home here. Buriel will be in Bettendorf.
