CHEROKEE, Iowa -- Patricia Dailey, 46, of Neelyville, Mo., former Cherokee County resident, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Boothby Funeral Home in Cherokee, with the Rev. Larry Nilson officiating. Burial will be in Good Hope Cemetery, rural Cherokee. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 2 to 4 p.m., at the funeral home. There will be a family prayer service at 10:15 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Patricia was born Sept. 22, 1958, in Cherokee, to Clinton L. and Helen Marie (Hahn) Furgason.

She was married to Randy C. Dailey on Dec. 24, 1980. She had lived in Missouri for a number of years and was originally from Cherokee County. Patricia enjoyed horses, her dogs, going fishing and loved driving her little black truck.

Survivors include a daughter, Lina Dailey of Neelyville; a granddaughter, Summer Dailey; two sisters, Eloise Rippe and her husband, Rick of South Sioux City, and Marianne Furgason of Cherokee; a brother and his wife, David and Teri Furgason of Holstein, Iowa; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Randy C. Dailey; and a son, Benjamin L. Dailey, on Oct. 1, 1997.
