Aage J. "A.J." Miller, 55. Le Mars, formerly of Marcus, died on Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2006, at Floyd Valley Hospital in Le Mars. Funeral services will take place at 1 p.m., on Friday, Aug. 25, 2006, at the Le Mars Bible Church, Pastor Fred Gums will officiate. Burial will follow a time of lunch of fellowship at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Cherokee.

Visitation will begin at noon on Friday at the church. Expressions of sympathy may be directed through www.mauerjohnsonfh.com .

Aage Jens Miller was born on May 24, 1951, in Le Mars, the son of Aage and Marcella (Apel) Miller. He was raised in Marcus and attended Marcus High School. He later attended Northwestern Community College. Aage was employed with Vilais Turkey in Storm Lake, the Pantry Cafe in Le Mars, and he operated a trash hauling business. Aage loved to socialize with his many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, John Mongan.

He is survived by a brother, Milo Miller of Marcus; three sisters, Rose Mongan of Cherokee, Darlene Bennet of Waterbury, Neb., and Ruth Edwards and her husband Ivan "Butch" of Primghar and 10 nieces and nephews.
