Cave - Mummert Wedding

Miss Viola Mummert, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Mummert and Clarence Cave, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cave, were married Tuesday, June 7, at twelve o'clock at the brides home, 428 East Cedar Street.

The double ring ceremony was performed by Rev. B.H. Coonradt before an archway of roses, entwined in green boughs. The room was decorated with pink and white peonies.

The bride wore a tea rose georgette dress and carried a bouquet of roses. She was attended by Helen Ritz, maid of honor, and Alice Cave, bridesmaid. Leslie Gregg acted as best man, and Orin Sweet was ring bearer.

Annette Popma, accompanied by Miss Geneva Nelson, sang two solos "I Love You Truly" and "Oh Promise Me."

A wedding luncheon was served following the ceremony. A pink and white color scheme was carried out in table decorations.

Guests included immediate relatives and the following out-of-town guests were present: Mr. and Mrs. J. Perry Mummert and son, Miss Gladys Lister and Archie Smith of Milwaukee, Wis.

The bridal couple left for a short wedding trip to South Dakota, after which they will make their home on a farm north of Cherokee.
