Converse-Whiting Nuptials
Married, at the residence of the bride’s parents, two miles southwest of Alta, on Wednesday, February 20, 1895, by Rev. R. Burnip, Theron Converse and Anna Whiting. The ceremony was solemnized in the presence of about seventy-five invited guests, at 6:30, after which came the wedding dinner, presided over by the charming bride. Mrs. Converse is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Whiting and a young lady of many graces. Mr. Converse is an industrious young farmer of Cherokee county. They will move to a farm in the Pitcher township where they will make their home. Their large circle of friends will wish them a joyful and prosperous future—Alta Advertiser.
