A pleasant wedding event took place in this city yesterday, being the marriage of Mr. Jas. Mulvaney and Miss Mary McCarty, daughter of Daniel McCarty of Afton township. The ceremony was performed at the Catholic church at 8 a.m. The groom is a brother of Attorney Wm. Mulvaney and recently located in Nebraska, where he is a prosperous farmer. He has chosen one of Cherokee county’s best girls for a helpmeet and is to be congratulated. The couple left for their home in Nebraska today and the Democrat’s best wishes go with a host of others.
