German Methodist Church, Mason City

am trying to find any history/info on the German Methodist Church in Mason City. I am researching a Rev. Wm. Hein who left Sun Prairie, WI to served German M.E. churches in SD and IA. His service record includes Mason City 1913-1920. I believe that Wesley UMC is the desendent church but need confirmation. I have tried contacting the pastor at the United Methodist Church, but got no reply. Any background infomation is greatly appreciated.
