World War 2 POW

I wonder if you could kindly help me? My name is John Wallace of Manchester, UK, and I am writing a book about an American Spitfire pilot, Dwayne Linton, who was a POW at Stalag Luft III in World War 2. Dwayne kept a list of fellow POWs which he preserved after the war - and on the list is Lee Usher's name (who appears in your wonderful archive). Might I have your permission to quote from some of Lee's letters home in my book? They are very vivid and would add to my book significantly if I were able to use them!
