Our HEIMSNESS family lived in Mason City, Cerro Gordo County, IA from about 1910-1963. Is there a city directory for any of these years that could be checked? They lived for a time on South Monroe Street. Henry HEIMSNESS married Emma SOBOLIK DIEHL 2 Sep 1939 in Hampton, Franklin County, IA. Henry J. HEIMSNESS was born 28 Sep 1887 and died 2 Feb 1963. Henry J. sold cars, used, I believe. Does anyone remember a slick used car salesman? Does anyone have access to birth, death and marriage records in this county who would be willing to look up this name for me? Thank you.
