I looking for data on the brothers and sisters of Emil Arndt ,his wife was Clara Wilhelmine Christine Schroeder. I know Emil`s parents were John and Sophia Arndt He was living in Daughtery Township in 1930 and Mason City in 1930 according to the Federal Census.

BURIED AT MEMORIAL PARK CEMETERY,MASON CITY,IA.
Services were held at St. Luke Lutheran Church,Wednesday at 2 P.M. for Emil Henry Arndt,72.Mr. Arndt suffered a heart attack Saturday night and was taken to the Mercy Hospital,Mason City,where he died about 6:30 A.M. Sunday,June 21.
Rev. Amedoe Fredette officiated,burial was at Memorial Park Cemetery,Mason City. Mrs. Svend Andersen and Mrs Able Andersen arranged the flowers.Mrs Roy Kraupa accompanied by Miss. Cathy Christiansen, organist sang "Going Down The Valley" and "How Great Thou Art".Garrett Brierly,Vic Mathers,Roy Kraupa,Chris Paulsen,Chris Sorrenson and Ellsworth McNamara served as pall bearers.
The Sheckler Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.Mr. Arndt was born at Rockwell,Iowa,February 26, 1892,the son of John and Sophie Arndt and lived there until moving to Nora Springs vicinity about 18 years ago.He received his schooling at the Rockwell Public School. He was member of the St. Peter Lutheran Church,Rockwell and Rock Lodge 294 of Nora Springs. He was engaged in farming all of his life.
On September 27, 1913,he was married to Clara Schroeder,Castalia and they were parents of eleven children.Surviving him are his wife,seven sons,Delbert,Velder and Roger of Mason City:Lloyd,Nora Springs,Robert,Rockford,IL., John,Minneapolis,Minnesota and Darrell,St,Cloud,Minn.:two daughters Mrs George(Clara Mae)Smith,Mason city and Mrs William Shirley Paulsen, Elk River,Minn.:one sister Mrs Lou(Sophie) Mundt,Rockwell:37 grandchildren and 25,great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons in infancy,three sisters and three brothers.

Funeral services were held Wednesday,September 8 at St.Luke Lutheran Church,Nora Springs,Iowa for Clara M. Arndt,88. The Rev.David Guetzke officiated.Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery,Mason City,Iowa.
Clara M. Schroeder,daughter Johan and Martha Schroeder, was born June 28, 1894 near Postville. She died September 5 at a Mason City Hospital where she had been taken September 2, because of illness.
Mrs. Arndt lived in the Postville area until her marriage September 27, 1913 to Emil Henry Arndt when she moved to Rockwell,Iowa.They were the parents of 10 children.She had been living with her daughter,Mrs. George Smith at Rockford for the past year/
She was preceded in death by her husband,two brothers,Louis and Herbert:five sisters,Mrs.W.C(Emma).Koenig, Mrs Walter(Elsie)Schultz,Mrs. Edward(Florence)Preuss,Mrs. Alvin(Selma) Neuhring, and Mrs Claude(Ruth)Weaver : and four sons,Velder and Lloyd and two in infancy,surviving are one daughter Mrs George(Clara)Smith,Mason City;four sons,Delbert and Roger, Mason City:Darrell,St. Cloud,Minn.:John and Robert,Minneapolis,Minn.: 37 grandchildren, 88 great grandchildren and 21 great great grandchildren.

Lloyd Johan Arndt Sr. 54 of Nora Springs died Saturday February 5, at the University Hospital at Iowa City,services were Tuesday February 8 at 1:30 P.M. at the First Methodist Church in Nora Springs with burial in Memorial Park in Mason City.Rev. Keith Wilkin conducted the service with Sheckler Funeral Home in charge.
He was born September 13, 1922 in Rockwell,Iowa to Emil and Clara Arndt.He received schooling in Mason City.On January 12, 1943,he entered the air force serving in North Africa during World War II.He was discharged on December 13, 1945.
He married Dorothy Arabell Bifie of Iowa,Louisana on August 11, 1946 in Mason City.They lived three years in Iowa,Louisana, then moved to Nora Springs where they lived 26 years.
He was a member of the First Methodist Church of Nora Springs and a member of 489 Legion of Nora Springs.He worked 15 years at Deckers.He became disabled in 1967.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy,and five children,Mrs Neil(Dianna)Anderson of Plymouth,Cyrus of Mason City,Neoma McLaughlin of Plymouth,Lloyd J.Arndt Jr., of Milwaukee,Wisc. and Adelia at home:10 grandchildren, mother, one sister and 6 brothers. He was preceded in death by his father and 2 brothers.
