Groom: Samuel S. Roby, age 40
Groom's Parents: Jacob Roby and Sarah Jane Foller
Bride: Sarah E. Trump/Sarah E. Stoniker, age 36
Bride's Parents: John Huffine and Betsie E. KnowlesSarah Huffine was married first to William Bennett Stalnaker on August 6, 1879 or 1880. They had a son, Arthur L. Stalnaker/Stonaker who was born January 14, 1880 in Missouri. I am including the link to Arthur's Death Certificate. Sarah then apparently married ? Trump after she and William Bennett Stalnaker were divorced. Sarah Trump is enumerated in the Iowa State Census, 1895 in Cedar, Van Buren County, Iowa.

Sept 17 07.Mr. W.B. Stalnaker:
Dear Sir; I take the privilige to write you, about your boy Arthur as I don't suppose you know where he is at. He is out in western Kansas trying to hold a claim down. He went there last spring, from Iowa the reason why I write you about him is this, he is my brother in law, he married a sister of mine, he did not know that his father was alive until after he was married. My mother found out some way that you was still living and told him about it, but he would not believe it until he went and seen his uncle Jesse Peterson and asked him he has been brought up under the impression that his father was dead. His folks on his mothers side it seems like they don't want him to find out anything about his father. So I took it on myself to write you about him and to let you know where he is at. They live in Kansas and their post office address is (Russell Springs, Logan County Kansas) and your sons signs his name Authur L STONAKER he spells it different from what you do. His mother is married again and she lives out there near Arthur and Tom Huffine lives here at Osgood. I expect you would like to know by this time who it is that is writing to you. My name is W. S.Todd. I live at Osgood. Sullivan County Mo. Arthur has two nice little one is 3 years old and the other about one. I found out were you was at by asking a Mr. J.F. Anderson. Well as his mothers folks does not want you to find out were he is at, it might be well if you should write to him to not mention who informed you of his whereabouts as Tom Huffine is next door neighbor to me, and they would feel sore at me for revealing something that they have tried so long to keep secret. Please write me and let me know if you got this letter and if there is anything more that I can tell you about him I am will to do so. I have the picture of him and his wife here that I could send you if I knew you did not have one, well write to me soon as you get this and if you write to Arthur remember he does not spell his name as you do. Write soon and oblige.
