Anna's marriage record states that her name was Anna Reed Sterling and that her parents were William Reed and Martha Allen which is consistent with the 1900 census I located for you in Portland, Cerro Gordo County in which her mother, Martha Reed is living with Albert and Anna. Anna is still alive by 1905 in the state census. Perhaps she was married to a ? Sterling prior to 1898.

A. V. Tousdall, 26, born Wisconsin
Anna Tousdall, 33, born Minnesota
Mabel Seabeard, 11, adopted daughter, born Dakota
Martha Reed, 66, mother-in-law, born Ohio

Both Albert and Anna are enumerated in 1905 in the Cerro Gordo County Iowa State Census.

Albert Truesdell was born on November 5, 1872 and died 1 September 1932 in Floyd County, Iowa. The certificate # is C34-0129. Perhaps his death certificate or obituary might give information about Anna (Reed) Sterling? Truesdell.
