Francis “Frank” Patrick Boyle, 51, of Mason City, died Tuesday, August 22, 2017, at Good Shepherd Health Center, Mason City.

A visitation will be held from 4-7:30 pm with a 4:30 pm Knights of Columbus Rosary Service on Wednesday, August 23, 2017, at Fullerton Funeral Home, 123 2nd Street SE, Mason City. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, August 24, 2017, at Epiphany Parish Holy Family Church, 722 North Adams Avenue, Mason City. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Dougherty, IA.

Francis was born on March 8, 1966 in Mason City, the son of Patrick and Theresa (Dolan) Boyle. He graduated from Mason City High School in 1987. He was employed by Rockwell Stop ‘N' Shop, NIVC, Affordables, Godfather's Pizza, Country Kitchen and Golden Corral. Beyond his love for his family, Francis had a love for a variety of music including Bon Jovi, Van Halen and Guns & Roses, as well as country stars Keith Urban, Tim McGraw and Shania Twain. His other love was the NFL with favorite teams including the Minnesota Vikings, the Dallas Cowboys, the KC Chiefs and the Denver Broncos. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.

He was preceded in death by his parents Patrick and Theresa Boyle and is survived by seven siblings, Jean Anne Lee, Rochester, MN; Stephan (Patti) Boyle, Hartford, SD; Terry (Carol) Boyle, Dougherty, Martha (Dave) Tygart, Davenport; Mark (Rosann) Boyle, Mason City; Carol (Eric) Schrader, San Francisco, CA, and Sheila Shannon, Clear Lake; 16 nieces and nephews, 25 great nieces and nephews and 1 great-great niece.

Frank never met a stranger, and lived life to its fullest. His family would like to acknowledge and thank the many friends, relatives, teachers, staff, co-workers, caregivers and organizations that helped Frank throughout his life's journey.
