Rites to be Conducted at Rockwell Church
Funeral services for Daniel W. McGarry, 91, who died Wednesday at a Rockwell hospital, will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m. at the Sacred Heart church at Rockwell with Father T. W. Klassen, officiating.
Mr. McGarry was born in New York City, N.Y. April 4, 1854. He moved to Clermont, Iowa, with his parents in 1856, and then to a farm near Rockwell in 1878. He retired to Rockwell in 1916, and had resided there since that time.
He was preceded in death by his parents and nine sisters and two brothers. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. P. J. Downing at Greene and the following nieces and nephews: James V. Campbell, Mason City; Emmet J. Campbell and Lyda Campbell, Rockwell; May Lalor, Dougherty; Will Lalor, Solon; Mrs. Mary Price, Greene and Leo and Joseph Downing, Greene.
The body will be taken to the Emmet Campbell residence in Rockwell Thursday afternoon.
[Interment was made at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Rockwell, Iowa.]
