E. M. MULLEN, 29, DIED IN LOS ANGELES

Edmund Marvin Mullen, 29, son of John Mullen, Rockwell, died Saturday at Sawtelle Veterans Hospital, Los Angeles, from injuries and complications received in the service.

He was born June 25, 1927, at Dougherty. He moved to the Rockwell vicinity and became a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Upon graduation from Rockwell public school, he entered the service in 1945.

Surviving are his father, John Mullen, Rockwell; and five brothers; William Mullen, Greenville, North Carolina; Robert Mullen, Davenport; Vernard Mullen and Charles Mullen, Mason City; and Airman 2C John Joseph Mullen, stationed at Etain Air Base in France.

Five sisters; Mrs. Jack (Leona) Kelton, Sunland, California; Mrs. Francis (Delphia) Foell, Rockwell; Mrs. LaVern (Helen) Bonjour, Aredale; Mrs. Philip (Georgia) Reetz, Sheffield; and Mrs. Robert (Betty) Jannsen, Hampton; and grandparents; Mr. and Mrs. Abe Mullen, Floyd; and Ella Goodman, Gillette, Wyoming.
He was preceded in death by his mother, a sister and a brother.
