MRS. JOHN W. MULLEN, 40, OF NEAR ROCKWELL, DIES IN LOCAL HOSPITAL
Mrs. Flossie Cecile Mullen, 40, wife of John W. Mullen, farmer southwest of Rockwell, died at 12:30 o’clock Monday afternoon in a local hospital after a six months illness. She had been ill since last December and had been in the hospital for two months.
Mrs. Mullen was bon December 2, 1897 in Heppner, Oregon. She had lived with her husband and family in the Rockwell and Dougherty communities for the last three years on a farm five miles southwest of Rockwell.
She is survived by her husband, five daughters, six sons, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Cumpton, Gillette, Wyoming; three sisters and three brothers.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 9:30 o’clock at the Sacred Heart Church in Rockwell with the Rev. Father Kirk officiating.
Burial will be in Rockwell Cemetery.Mason City Globe Gazette, Monday June 27, 1938
