FUNERAL SERVICES HELD IN ROCK FALLS CHURCH FOR WILLIAM KENDREW

Rock Falls, March 16 – Funeral services for William Kendrew, 79, were held in the M.E. Church Tuesday afternoon with the Rev. Mr. Yates in charge.

William Kendrew was born August 1, 1853, in New York, but early moved with his parents to Illinois where he grew to young manhood.

He was married March 28, 1876, to Ida Klink and they lived in the vicinity of Clear Lake and Rock Falls, Iowa.

Children surviving are Ben of Nora Springs; Clarence of Rock Falls; and Mrs. John Wybarney of Rock Falls. Mrs. Kendrew preceded her husband in death 10 years ago.

Mr. Kendrew was married on December 29, 1931 to Mrs Emma Evans, who is also left. He had been ill seven weeks and died on Sunday afternoon.
