P. Williams rites set at Clear Lake
Clear Lake- Paul Williams, 83, Boscobel, Wis., died in an Iowa City hospital, Friday after a short illness.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Wilcox Funeral Home with Dr. John DeLong of the Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Clear Lake Cemetery.
Paul Williams was born Nov. 16, 1882, at Fox Lake, Wis., the son of Charles and Mary (Wallace) Williams. The family moved to Clear Lake when he was 12 years old. He was graduated from Clear Lake High School and from Iowa State University with a degree in electrical engineering.
He was city engineer for Monona several years and was city engineer of Boscobel from 1925, serving 35 years. He was a member of the Boscobel Methodist Church and Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include one son Robert, Stony Creek,
Erp, Albert Lea; and Mrs. P. C. (Paige) Walters, Iowa City; one brother, Leon, Toledo, Ohio; two sisters, Octavia and Marguerite Williams, Clear Lake, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his wife, four brothers and three sisters.
