Funeral Services Set for Friday Afternoon

George Pappajohn, 55, 418 6th S. W., died suddenly at his home Tuesday evening. Funeral services will be held at the Greek Orthodox church Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Ambrose Giannoukos officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery.

Mr. Pappajohn was born in Greece in 1889 and came to Mason City in 1914. He has been proprietor of the Evia Meat and Grocery company for the past 30 years.

Surviving are his wife, 3 sons, John, Aristotle and Socrates; a sister, Mrs. Helen Daskalakis of Mason City; 3 sisters and 3 brothers in Greece.

He was a member of the Greek Orthodox church, the Ahepa lodge and was president of the Evia association. The Major funeral home is in charge.
