Married in 1939 to Virginia Bohen.
Survived by his wife; daughters Carolyn Ann and Phyllis (Mrs. Robert) White, Clear Lake; two grand children; his parents; brothers, Kenneth and George of Mason City, Maurice of Texas and a sister Mariana (Mrs Harold) Nolan, Mason City.
