Mrs. Mary Duncan, of Mason City, died at the residence of E. G. Marlow in this city on the evening of the 15th. Deceased was the daughter of Pierce Headington, who was a son of Wm. Headington, and a nephew of the late James and Benj. Headington. She came here during the first week in May to visit her numerous relations, and was taken sick. For many years she had been in poor health, and was unable to resist the ravenges of a sharp illness. Her remains were taken back to Mason City for burial beside those of her husband, who died some years ago. One daughter survives her.
