Death of Mrs Dougherty

DOUGHERTY, Ia., May 29, 1918. Mrs. James Dougherty, for forty years a resident in this vicinity, died this morning at 4 o'clock at her home in Dougherty. Mrs Dougherty was 75 years of age, a devout member of the Catholic Church, and an aunt of Father Dougherty, pastor of the Holy Family church, Mason City. She leaves to mourn her loss, two sons, D. E. and F. T. Dougherty, and four daughters, Mrs. David Coyle, of Dougherty, Mrs. J.C.Campbell of Charles City, Mrs. T. M. Brady of Miles City, Mont., and Mrs. Mary Coyle of Mason City.
Funeral arrangements have not been definitely made, but the service will probably be held Friday morning from the Catholic church.
