Annie Mullin Service Set For Tuesday (1957)

Annie Mullin, sixty-six, widow of Walter J. Mullin and a former resident of Dougherty and Aredale, died suddenly Friday evening in Minneapolis. She had lived there about twenty years, following the death of her husband, Aredale banker.

Mrs Mullin was born Oct. 28, 1891, at Felton, Minn. daughter of Edward J. and Anges (Burke) Murphy. She attended schools at Felton.

Surviving are her stepmother, Tessie Murphy, seven brothers, Robert, Dougherty; Leo, Minneapolis; Ed, Fargo N.D.; Joe, Ada, Minn.; Claire, Davenport; Dan, Felton, Minn.; and Vincent, Moorehead, Minn.; three sisters, Miss Mary Murphy, with whom she made her home in Minneapolis; Miss Vivian Murphy, Felton, Minn. and Sister Robert Claire, B.V.M., Chicago.

Besides her husband, she also was preceded in death by a son, Claire Francis, an Air Force pilot killed in World War II over Belgium.

Requiem High Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Dougherty. The Rev. Ronald Axen will be celebrant.
Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery at Dougherty.
Friends may call late Monday at the home of a brother, Robert Murphy in Dougherty.
The Colonial Funeral Home is in charge.
