Leo E. Geary Funeral To Be On Wednesday

Leo E. Geary, 57, manager of the Farmers Co-op Gas and Oil Company, Dougherty, died suddenly Sunday at his home in Dougherty.
He had lived at Dougherty since 1912.

Mr. Geary was born Nov. 4, 1896 at Parkersburg, son of Richard and Mary (Quinn) Geary.

Surviving are his wife, Celia; son, Daniel Richard (Dick) Geary Mason City; a daughter Mrs. William (Mary Lou) Peterson, Rockwell and three sisters, Mae Keane, Moravia, Calif.; Mrs. Leo (Katherine) Danehy, Mason City, Mrs Will (Rose)Romelfanger, Mason City.

He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church at Dougherty, the Holy Name Society and the Brislin-Hogan American Legion Post 354 of Dougherty.

Funeral services well be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church at Dougherty, with Father A.A. McAvoy officiating.

Interment will be at St. Patrick's Cemetery at Dougherty.
A rosary will be said at the Geary residence in Dougherty at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
The Colonial Funeral Home, Mason City, is in charge of arrangements.
