Obituary ~ Clara A. Burke

Services for Clara A. Burke, 84, of the Bishop Drumm Home, will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Augustin's Catholic Church here, with burial at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Mason City.

Miss Burke died Saturday at Broadlawns Polk County Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Miss Burke, a native of Eldora, retired in 1952 after 30 years as a teacher in the Sioux City public schools. She moved to Des Moines in 1954.

The rosary will be recited at 4:30 p.m. today at Dunn's Funeral Home on Grand Avenue.
