February, 1975Rose (Lou) Doering, 65, of 1314 S. Massachusetts, died Tuesday [] at a Mason City Hospital.
She formerly was employed at Cooper Cap and Gown and at Kenyon Lockers.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Tabernacle Society and the Catholic Daughers of America (CDA).
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with the Rev. John Heles of the Mason City Team Ministry officiating. Burial will be in the St. Joseph section of Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation is from 7 p.m. Wednesday until time of services at the Hogan Bremer Colonial Chapel, where a CDA rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, followed by a Tabernacle Society and Knights of Columbus rosary at 8. A parish wake service is scheduled at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
She is survived by her husband, Herbert; two sons, Paul R. and David J., both of Mason City; two daughters, Sister Mary Luann, Charles City, and Mrs. Gary (Joan) Blaack, Worthington, Minn.; nine grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Ella Barr, Kathryn Bamrick and Mrs. Agnes Chute all of Dougherty; and a brother, Jim Bamrick, Rockwell.
Members of the Parish Life Society, of which Mrsl Doering was an active participant, are asked to attend the rosary Thursday evening at the chapel and the regular society meeting afterward at the parish hall.
