Hugh L. Dickinson, 89, of 222 S. Pierce Ave., died Tuesday (July 23, 1996) at the Americana Health Care Center.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave. with the Rev. Dan Conklin of the Calvary Alliance Church officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, with military rites by the Mason City Veterans Memorial Association.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today and Saturday morning until time of services at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave.

Memorials may be given to the Hospice of North Iowa in memory of Hugh L. Dickinson.

Hugh Dickinson was born July 15, 1907, in Pennsylvania. He married Helen Wagner on Dec. 24, 1949, at Nashua. Hugh was a longtime employee of Jacob E. Decker and Sons in Mason City.

Survivors include one son, Ronald Dickinson; grandchildren, Rodney Dickinson of Mason City; Jeffrey Dickinson of Mason City, and Debra Lawler, of Mason City; and daughter-in-law, Rosemary Dickinson of Mason City.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen; two sisters; and one brother.
