Dorothy Jean Davis, age 76, of Warsaw, MO, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Sunday, May 20, 2018. Dorothy was born on December 19, 1941, in Elma, Iowa, the daughter of Bernard Joseph and Dora Mae (Lonergan) Weiland.

Dorothy was a very spiritual person and had been baptized. She was confirmed at the First Covenant Lutheran Church in Mason City, Iowa. Dorothy was a creative soul and enjoyed flower gardening. She was a lover of all animals … especially her pet dogs.

She is survived by her mother, Dora Mae Weiland of Mason City, Iowa, her husband of over 50 years, Ron Davis, of Warsaw, one son, Tracy Davis and his partner, Michael Zambori, of Lincoln, MO, four daughters, twins, Linda Buchholz (David) and Susan Frost (Mike), all of Waverly, Iowa, Debra Caspers (Bill) of Swaledale, Iowa and Brenda Kreisel (Richard) of Warsaw. Also surviving is a sister, Marge Ward (Jim) of Mason City, Iowa, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Dorothy's wishes were to be cremated with private family celebration of life service. Arrangements were under the direction of the Reser Funeral Home, Warsaw, MO.
