Joseph Anton Wihlm, 68, Succumbs.

Joseph Anton Wihlm, 68, Sheffield farmer died Saturday morning at a Rochester, Minn. hospital.
He was injured in a farm accident June 12, when he fell from a load of hay. He had been at the Rochester hospital since July 2.

Mr. Wihlm was born June 13, 1894, at Scottsburg, France. He came to the United States at the age of 16 and settled in the Dike area.

He was married to Miss Clara Merfeld Jan. 27, 1921, in St. Patrick's Church, Dougherty.

They continued to live in the Dougherty-Sheffield area, where he had been farming.

He was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Dougherty.

Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mary Paulus, Aredale; and Mrs. Joe (Rita) Paulus, Rockford; three sons, Robert, Waterloo; Joseph Jr., rural Sheffield; and Alphonse, Roseville, and twenty-one grandchildren.

A brother, Eugene Wihlm, Strasbourg, France; and two sisters, Eunice Mac, Strasbourg, France, and Alfonsine Smith, Humboldt, Saskatchewan, Canada, also survive.

Funeral services have been set tentatively for Tuesday morning at St. Patrick's Church, Dougherty.

The Rev. L.. H. Reicks. pastor of the church will officiate.

Visitation has been set for Sunday and Monday at the Wihlm residence, where rosaries have been scheduled.

The Hogan-McKee Colonial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
