October 12, 2011ROCKWELL — Shirley Jane Peterson Arrowwood, 91, of Rockwell, formerly of Hampton, died on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2011, at Hospice of North Iowa in Mason City.
She was born September 6, 1920 in Hampton, Iowa, to Nils and Hazel (Roberts) Peterson. Shirley attended schools in Hampton and graduated from Hampton High. She was married to Darrold Arrowwood on September 4, 1945. Shirley is survived by her husband, Darrold of Rockwell, Iowa, a daughter, Jeanine Brown of Rockwell, Iowa, two grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and a brother.
There will be no services at this time. Private services will be held at a later date. Burial will take place in the Hampton Cemetery at a later date.
