Mrs Logan Service at Dougherty (1958)

Mrs Milford (Susie) Logan, 66, died late Thursday morning at a Rockwell nursing home.
She was a resident of Dougherty.

She was born Jan. 8, 1892, at Dumont, daughter of Joseph and Kathryn (Brew) Considine.
She attended school at Dumont and lived with her parents on a farm near Kesley.
She was a graduate of Dumont High School and State Teachers College, Cedar Falls.

After graduation she taught country school in and around Parkersburg. They moved to a farm
near Dougherty, where they had since lived.

She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Dougherty, the Ladies Guild at St. Patrick’s
Church and the Dougherty Domestic Club.

Surviving are her husband, Milford, two daughters, Mrs. Martin (Agnes) Mullin, Dougherty,
and Mrs. Leonard (Mildred) Kelly, Marble Rock; four sons, Donald, Rockwell, Martin and
Emmett of Mason City and Maurice, Dougherty.

Three sisters, Mrs. E. E. (Josie) Wintz, Allison; Mrs William (Byrd) Perry, Long Beach, Calif.,
and Mrs. Floyd (Joy) Faust, Minneapolis; and four brothers, Martin Considine, Broadus, Mont.,
Andrew Considine, Hampton; Harley Considine, Parkersburg, and Leon Considine, Mason City;
and 25 grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, a son and a grandson.
