Mrs. W. Hogan Services Held at Dougherty (April 9, 1954)

Solemn requiem high mass was celebrated for Mrs. Walter Hogan, 66, Monday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Dougherty, with Father A. A. McAvoy, celebrant. Father Raymond Bohrer, Rockwell as deacon and Father Gilbert Lattner, Rockford, sub-deacon.

Master of ceremonies was Jerome Barr. Acolytes were Eddie Soucek and Richard Knoll. Members of St. Patrick’s School Choir sand with Darlene Murphy as organist.

Attending the services from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Eggleston, Hasting Neb.; Miss Mavel Livingston, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Victor Scheinipp, Mitchell S. D. and Mr. and Mrs. James Livingston and daughter, Gwendolyn, Sioux Falls, S.D.; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Livingston, Mound, Minn., and many more relatives from Rockwell, Mason City, Sheffield, Greene, and Rockford.

Pallbearers were Ray Hogan, Jerry Cahalan, Melvin Clark, Clark Dougherty, Robert Reed and Donald Hogan.

Burial was at St. Patrick’s cemetery, Dougherty. The Colonial Funeral Home of Mason City was in charge.
