Pioneer Dies at Dougherty (March 9, 1941)
Funeral Services for John Hogan, 84, to be held Tuesday
Dougherty- Funeral Services for John Hogan, 84, pioneer resident of Dougherty, will be held at 9:30 o’clock Tuesday morning at St. Patrick’s church, with the Rev. J. J. Collins in charge.
Burial will be in St. Patrick’s cemetery.
Hogan died Sunday morning at the home of his son, Ralph. He had resided in Dougherty for 60 years, coming here from Manitowoc, Wis.
Surviving are two sons, Ralph of Dougherty and Walter of Rockwell, and two daughters, Mrs. Nora Laurence, Belle Plaine, and Mrs. Regina Madden of Mason City.
