Mrs. Pat Kelly Rites Saturday at Dougherty (Nov. 24, 1954.)

Mrs Pat (Elizabeth) Kelly, 72, a lifelong resident of Dougherty, died Wednesday afternoon at
a Mason City hospital.

Mrs. Kelly was born June 2, 1882, in Dougherty Township, the daughter of Timothy and Bridget Boyle. She was married to Pat Kelly Nov. 24, 1909 at Dougherty. They moved to Waterloo but
in 1911 returned to Dougherty where she has lived since.

She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church of Dougherty and of the Ladies Guild.

She is survived by her husband and two sons, Joseph of Dougherty, and Duane of Waterloo.
One brother, William Boyle, Dougherty, also survives. She was preceded in death by four
sisters and four brothers.

The body will lie in state at the Colonial Funeral Home until 1 p.m. Friday. After that time friends
may call at the Kelly residence at Dougherty until the time of services. The parish Rosary will
be recited at 8 p.m. Friday at the Kelly home.

Requiem High Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick’s Church.
