Rites to Be Held at Holy Family Church

Solemn Requiem High Mass will be celebrated for Edward Patrick Donnelley, 78, Friday at 9:30 a.m. at the Holy Family Catholic Church with Father Joseph Murphy, St. Anthony a nephew of Mr. Donnelly, celebrant.

Burial will be at St. Patrick's cemetery, Dougherty.

Mr. Donnelley died Wednesday at his home, 232 4th NW. He was born Dec. 25, 1870 at Columbus, Wis., moving to Clermont and then to Dougherty when he was seven. He farmed there until 1939 when he retired and moved to Mason City, where he had since made his home.

Surviving are his wife, Margaret, five daughters, Sister Mary Margaret, Fairbanks; Mrs. Roy Behr, Rockwell; Mrs Gene Pluong, Minneapolis; Mrs Charles Gannon and Eleanor of Mason City, and four sons, Joseph and Vincent of Cleveland, Ohio, and Leo and Raymond of Mason City.

Three sisters, Mrs Martha Murphy, Mason City, Mrs Alesha Harrington, Huron S. Dak., and Mrs Patrick Murphy Mason City, also survive.

He was preceded in death by a daughter in infancy and by two brothers, Garrett and Joseph Donnelly.

Mr Donnelly was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Holy Family Holy Name Society.
