Thomas Conwell, formerly editor of The World, died at Miles City, Montana, March 25th. (1920).
His remains reached Dougherty Monday, and the funeral took place Tuesday morning, burial being made in the family lot in St. Patrick's cemetery.

Mr. Conwell was a fireman in the employ of the C.M.& P. Railroad and met his death watering his engine, the rope of the water spout breaking, precipitating him backwards to the ground.

Those who accompanied the body from Montana spoke generously of Mr. Conwell's standing in Miles City as a citizen and social member.

Mr. Conwell was well known in Dougherty, where his parents lived several years and who were at the funeral together with their children and many friends from near and far.
