Solemn Requiem High Mass for Lt. Andrew P. Roeder

Services Held at Sacred Heart Church, Rockwell, for Flyer.

A Solemn Requiem Mass was read for Lt. (J. G.) Andrew P. Roeder Saturday morning in the Sacred Heart church at Rockwell. The officers of the mass were the Rev. L. W. Klassen, celebrant; the Rev. R. Ormsby, deacon, the Rev. E. J. O' Hagen, sub deacon; the Rev. V. Cross, master of ceremonies.

The Rev. J. Mahoney preached the sermon. Other priests in the sancturay were the Rev. J. Hartigan, Iowa Falls; the Rev. R. P. Murphy, Mason City; the Rev. J. Hammill, Dougherty, and the Rev. R. Bohrer, Rockwell.
Lt. (J.G.) L. B. Blocker, Bronson Field, Pensacola Fla., was the naval escort.

Pallbrearers were Ronald Sherwood, Joe Pritchard, Sterl Sawyer, John Roeder, William Roeder and Obra Parks.

American Legion honorary pallbearers were Evan Smith, Clifford Caspers, George O'Connor,
Adrian Bielfeld, Emmet Campbell, and John Hogan.
The color guard was Mike Curley, Pat Sturges, Leon Scholl and H. B. McGaheren.

Out of town relatives attending the services included Mrs. Harold J. Lerty, Havre Mont., Mrs F. E. Manwiller, Alden, Mrs Sarah E. Helwick, Peoria, Ill.; Mrs W. B Jayne, West Liberty; Dr. and Mrs. J. T. Porter and Mrs. Phillip Porter, Mason City; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Toeder, Cedar Rapids, and Karl Roeder, Piggot, Ark.
