AGED WOMAN OF DOUGHERTY DIES ( 1947)
Rites Set Wednesday for Longtime CitizenDougherty- Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9:a.m. in the St. Patrick's church here for Mrs. James O'Connor, 74, who died at her home four and one half miles north of here Monday morning following a heart attack.
The Rev. P. J. Mcquire will officiate with the Rev. Vincent Merfeld of Charles City and the Rev. Joseph Murphy of St. Anthony assisting.
Burial will be in the St. Patrick's cemetery.Mrs O'Connor was born at Clermont, March 28, 1873. Most of her life was spent in the vicinity of Dougherty.
Surviving are her husband, son Everett O'Connor of Dougherty and two daughters, Mrs. Arthur Holmes of Mason City and Mrs. Tom Albrecht of Greene. She also leaves two sisters, Mrs William Hogan of Stewart and Mrs. Katherine O'Connor of Mason City.
