Mattie Murphy Services Are Not Complete
Mrs Mattie Murphy, 88, died at her home, 232 4th N.W. late Tuesday, following a long illness.
She had lived in Mason City 24 years.

Mrs Murphy was born Aug. 13, 1864, at Columbus, Wis., the daugher of Edward and Helena Donnelly. She moved to Dougherty in early life and was married there to Michael Murphy, April 12, 1898. They farmed near Dougherty until 1928 when they retired and moved to Mason City.

Surviving are a son, Emmet Murphy, Cleveland, Ohio, a sister Mrs Alesha Harrington, Huron, S.D., two sisters in-law, Margaret Donnelley, Mason City, and Bridget Murphy, Dougherty; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Murphy, in 1945, and by two brothers, Joseph, and Ed, and two sisters, Jane and Dora.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
