Mason City -- Kenneth Russel Clark, 79, of Mason City, died Wednesday (March 14, 2018) a the Muse Norris Inpatient Unit- Hospice of North Iowa in Mason City.

Per his wishes, cremation was accorded, and no services are scheduled at this time.

The family suggests memorials to Hospice of North Iowa, 232 2nd St SE, Mason City, IA 50401.

Kenneth R. Clark was born on May 20, 1938, a son of Melvin and Deana (Nelson) Clark in Mason City. He graduated from Rockwell High School in 1956 before enlisting in the United States Navy.

He married Karen Kirk in 1956 in Rockwell, and to this union, three children were born. Kenneth was honorably discharged after 23 years of service and began working as maintenance for ConAgra Foods.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Tim (Rhonda) Clark and Kim (Dean Barkema) Clark; grandchildren, Sarah Johnson, MacKenzie Clark, Matthew Statlander, Jenny San Miguel and Jacob Luther; his sister, Sharon Sawyer, and his dog, Ellie May.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Karen, his daughter, Kathy Luther, and his parents, Melvin and Deana (Nelson) Clark.
