Cynthia K. “Cindy” Mogk, 69, of Mason City, died Saturday (February 24, 2018) at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City, surrounded by her loving family.

A Memorial Service for Cindy will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday (February 28, 2018) at Plymouth Bible Baptist Church, 808 Broad Street, Plymouth with Pastor Paul Schaefer officiating.

Cindy's family will greet friends and relatives at the church Wednesday morning from 9:00 am until 11:00 am.

Should friends desire, memorials may be left to Plymouth Bible Baptist Church, or the Humane Society in Cindy's name.

Cynthia Keath Sanborn was born on April 1, 1948 in Mason City, the daughter of Keith and Hazel (Kimm) Sanborn. She attended Mason City High School and graduated among the class of 1966. Following her graduation Cindy enrolled at classes at Hamilton Business College in Mason City.

In 1969 Cindy would be united in marriage to Robert Mogk in Mason City, and together they would be blessed with two daughters, Melissa and Jennifer.

Cindy held various jobs throughout her adulthood. In earlier years she worked as a Nurse's Assistant at the Lutheran Retirement home in Northwood, as well as for Hospice of North Iowa. As the years progressed she also held positions at Target and Shopko.

Throughout the years Cindy enjoyed spending time working on her craft projects and crocheting. She was a member of Plymouth Bible Baptist Church, where she was active in Bible Study as well as many different groups and activities.

Those grateful in sharing in Cindy's life are her daughter, Melissa (Wes) Romig, Mason City; grandchildren, Hayden Romig (Sarah Hubner), Omaha, NE, and Hannah Romig (David Nelson), Kensett; siblings, Kim (Linda) Sanborn, Stacy, Minn., Rosalee Erickson, Mason City, and Sally Johnston, Mason City; and many nieces and nephews as well as many friends.

Cindy is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Jennifer; former husband, Robert Mogk; and her niece, Heather Sanborn.
