David L. Dodd, 74, of Mason City passed away Wednesday, (November 8, 2017).

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Burial will be beside his parents in Park Cemetery, Nora Springs at a later date.

David was born October 15, 1943 at the old Park Hospital in Mason City. He grew up on the family farm along the Shell Rock River between Rock Falls and Nora Springs. He attended the Rock Falls Consolidated school along with his five brothers and one sister. David was the youngest of the family.

David is survived by three siblings, Larry (Arlene) Dodd of Washington, IA; Sharon (Larry) Cross of Nora Springs and Dennis (June) Dodd of Mason City, along with many nieces, nephews, and his friends at the I.O.O.F. home.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Velma Dodd, three brothers, Bill (2010), Jerry (2016) and Delbert (1993).
