Sally Ann Hudson-Gancorz, 47, Mason City, died Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, Minn.

A celebration of Sally’s life will be held 2 p.m. Friday (May 16, 2014) at the First Baptist Church, 125 East State St., Mason City, with Pastor Dennis Hudson officiating.

Inurnment will be held at a later date in Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery, Mason City.

The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left in Sally’s name in care of Hogan Bremer Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E., Mason City.

Sally Ann Hudson-Gancorz, daughter of Dennis Hudson and Julia Ramos-Hudson, was born Jan. 26, 1967, in Minneapolis, Minn. She graduated from the Plymouth Christian School in Plymouth, and furthered her education in the healthcare field, working as a CNA.

She was united in marriage to Steve Gancorz on June 29, 2011, in Mason City.

Sally loved spending time with her grandchildren, was an avid dancer, and an excellent cook.

She is survived by her five children: Alyssa Hudson, Ileyah Mays, Elora Mays, Carol Hudson and Kiesha Dunigan; grandchildren, Elias Mays, Aliana Mays, Thadyn Hudson, Amari Hudson, and Liliana Hudson; siblings, Dennis Jr. (Jena) Hudson, Adrea Lynch, Gabriel Hudson; parents, Dennis (Vickie) Hudson and Julia Ramos-Hudson; grandfather, Ernie Hudson along with two nieces, two nephews, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Hudson; grandparents, Pio and Sally Ramos and Dixie Hudson; and two uncles, Tony Ramos and Raymond Barrientes.
