Ramona L. Johnson was born June 28, 1933, in Mason City, the daughter of Marion and Gazina (Becker) Johnson.

Ramona was united in marriage to Lloyd Scholl on Sept. 30, 1950 at Epiphany Parish-Holy Family Catholic Church in Mason City; to this union four children were born. Ramona worked eight years at the Iowa Beer and Liquor Control Unit until they closed. Following the closing she decided to obtain her GED, at the age of 54, from NIACC, completing it in 1987.

Ramona was a member of Epiphany Parish-Holy Family Catholic Church, and was a past member of the Knights of Columbus.

For the past 11 years Ramona lived at the Heritage Care Center. Her second family there often called her the “Ladybug Lady”.

She will be greatly missed by both families and numerous friends.
