Delores E. Vosburgh, 89, of Sheffield, died Friday, Jan. 20, 2017, at Mercy Medical Center of North Iowa in Mason City.

A funeral service will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25, at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 620 12th Street N.E., Mason City with the Reverend Robert Harting officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2017, at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E., Mason City.

Delores Elaine Renberg was born March 28, 1927, to Bert and Ina (Lenning) Renberg in Comfrey, MN. She was baptized at the Lutheran Church in Comfrey and confirmed at Richland Lutheran Church in Thornton. Delores graduated from Sheffield High School with perfect attendance throughout her school days, before working for the telephone company in Mason City as a switchboard operator.

Delores married Marvin Vosburgh on Sept. 16, 1950, at the Richland Lutheran Church in Thornton. The couple farmed outside of Sheffield. Delores worked at Winnebago until her retirement in 1999.

She was an active member of Richland Lutheran Church and Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.

Delores enjoyed baking, shopping and traveling. She also loved attending her grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s sporting events and activities. Delores was a dog lover, hard worker and a friend to everyone.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Cindy (Lloyd) Heinselman, Mason City, Mark Vosburgh, Sheffield, and Michelle Courtier, Mason City; grandchildren, Heidi O’Neil, Cedar Rapids, Erik (Abbey) Meyers, Apple Valley, MN, Kristle Wolcott, Mankato, MN, and Mallorie Wolcott, Mason City; step-grandson, Matt (Stacy) Heinselman, Mason City; six great-grandchildren, Luke O’Neil, Evelynn Meyers, Peyton Meyers, Faith Wolcott, Aidan Wolcott, and Annabelle Carlous; step-great-grandchildren, Scott Heinselman, and Haley Heinselman; siblings, Leo Renberg, Sheffield, Duane Renberg, Thornton, and Janice (Roger) Fekkers, Belmond; and sisters-in-law, Marcille Bender and Marlene Borcherding, Mason City, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Delores was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin, her parents, Bert and Ina (Lenning) Renberg, her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Elizabeth and Oscar Vosburgh, and her sister, Arlene Renberg.
