Betty Ann Olson Lowe, 88, passed away on May 24, 2017, at her daughter, Peggy’s, in Lafayette, LA, under the care of Hospice.

A memorial service and inurnment for Betty Ann Olson Lowe, of Mason City, IA, will be Friday, June 2, at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Mason City, IA., at 9:30 a.m.

There will be a gathering at the Village Court on S. Taft in Mason City following the service.

Betty will be cremated and inurnment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.

She was born on Jan. 27, 1929, in Britt, IA, to Oscar and Anna (Ganseveld) Olson. She married J.C. Lowe on Jan. 18, 1946. To this union 3 children were born: Michael J Lowe (Terri Sue) Mason City; Rebecca Ann (Becki) (Mike) Wetter, Mason City; and Peggy Jo (Bob) Lee, Lafayette, Louisiana.

Grandchildren: Mick Lowe, Mark (Staci) Lowe, Michelle (Jake) Wilder, Nathan and special friend (Lisa) Wetter, Brett (Angie) Wetter, Alan (Kayla) Lee, William (Tia) Lee, Brittany (Melvin) Cody. She also has 16 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

She is survived by sisters Arlene Schujter, Mason City, and Marjorie Halfpop, Belmond and sisters-in-law Charlotte Olson, Mason City, Elaine Olson, Garner and Shirley Olson, Britt and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband JC, brothers Jim, Kenneth, Merrill, Robert and sisters Bonnie Olson and Marcella Krambeer.
