Bobby Jo Loftis, 51, of Mason City, passed away May 12, 2016, at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa.

A funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m. Saturday (May 21, 2016) at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 Third Street N.E., Mason City, with the Rev. Kelly Hanson officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family.

Bobby was born Dec. 8, 1964, in Mason City, son of Bennie Tull and Kathy Loftis. He graduated from Mason City High School Class of 1982, and during his school Bob was in Special Olympics. Bobby worked for Kraft and Crescent Plant in Mason City for several years.

He enjoyed going on bike rides, bowling, playing PlayStation games, playing jokes, spending time with family and friends.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Kim Loftis; children, Andrew (Lindsay) Thompson and Bryanna (Jerry Smith) Foell; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; father, Gary Loftis; brothers-in-law, Rick (Terri), Bryon (Sherri) and Michael (Andrea Cook) Springer; sister-in-law, Tammy Springer-Attebery, and many family and friends.

Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, paternal grandmother Tull, and infant brother.
