Donna D. deCathelineau, 60, of Mason City, died Friday, April 21, 2017, at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 24, 2017, at St. James Lutheran Church, 1148 Fourth St. S.E., Mason City, with the Rev. Jeni Bohls officiating.

Inurnment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City.

The family will greet friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E., Mason City, and one hour prior to services at the church, Monday.

Donna Dee deCathelineau, was born Aug. 3, 1956, at Gaylord, Minnesota, the daughter of Robert and Elaine (Hogstad) Woods. She was united in marriage to Barrett deCathelineau, on April 25, 1981, at Arlington, Minnesota.

She attended Arlington-Green Isle schools, graduating in 1974 from Arlington-Green Isle High School.

Donna began working at the Arlington State Bank during her senior year of high school as a co-op student, where she continued to be employed, following her graduation, for several years.

After moving to Mason City, she worked at North Iowa Community Credit Union for a few years.

Donna and Barrett enjoyed taking day trips throughout the region, especially cultural visits to the Twin Cities.

She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Mason City.

Survivors include, her husband, Barrett deCathelineau, Mason City; godson, Jeremy Hildebrand and Angel Dickinson, Mason City; mother, Elaine Woods, Arlington, MN; sister, Dr. Nancy (Joseph) Woods Rozman, Racine, WI; sisters and brothers in-law, the Rev. Valerie deCathelineau, Buffalo, NY, Joseph (Mary Jo) deCathelineau, Spicer, MN, Joan deCathelineau, Marietta, GA, Lois deCathelineau, Willmar, MN, James deCathelineau, Spicer, MN; nephews, Grant and Preston deCathelineau, Spicer, MN.; and other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Woods, and her father and mother in-law, Donald and Carol deCathelineau.
