Ottilie Ehresmann, 87, Clear Lake, died Monday, Jan. 23, 2006, at the Oakwood Care Center, Clear Lake.

She will be inurned at Elmwood Cemetery, Mason City, Iowa. According to her wishes her body has been cremated.

Ottilie was born Jan. 19, 1919 in Germany, the daughter of Wlheme and Crolin Mardon. She was born and raised on a farm in Germany and worked on the family farm after graduating from high school.

At age 19 she married Karl Ehresmann and came to America at the age of 25. They settled in Belmond, Iowa before moving to Clear Lake. She worked as a nurse's aide at the Oakwood Care Center for 24 years. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her sister, Hilda Wandolski, Languerril, Quebec Canada, and two nieces, Brigitte Wandolski, Varennes, Quebec Canada and Marlene Wandolski, Prefontaine.

Ottilie was preceded in death by her parents.
