MASON CITY --- Harry A. Everhart, 81, of 1315 8th S.E., died Saturday (Nov 17. 1984) in a Mason City nursing home.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. James Lutheran Church in Mason City with the Rev. David Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery here.

Visitation is after 2:30 this afternoon at Major Erickson Funeral Home, Mason City.

Mr. Everhart was born Feb. 13, 1903 to Mr. and Mrs. William Everhart in Cerro Gordo County. He married Opal Brazel on June 13, 1936 [Little Brown Church] in Nashua.

He farmed south of Mason City for many years, retiring in 1971.

A member of St. James Lutheran Church, Mr. Everhart served on the Mason Township School Board and on the old rural telephone company board.

Survivors include his wife, Opal, Mason City; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Maureen) Toole and Mrs. Tony (JoAnn) Bartusek, both of Mason City; a son, Jack Everhart, Mason City, along with seven grandchildren. Also, three sisters, Mrs. John (Alberta) Berding, Plymouth; Mrs. Lloyd (Hattie) Stevens, Clear Lake; and Mrs. Stanley (Evelyn) Hasselman, Mason City; and four brothers, Carl, Mason City; Emil, Richmond, Calif.; Henry, Northwood, and Arlo, Denver, Colo.
